9. Abu Ali al-Ash’ariy has narrated from certain persons of his people from Ja’far ibn ‘Anbasah from ‘Ubadah ibn Ziyad al-Asadiy from ‘Amr ibn abu al-Miqdam from Abu Ja‘far , and Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-‘Asemiy from those who narrated to him from Mu’alla’ ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn Hassan from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Kathir who has said the following:

“Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin in a letter to al-Hassan , has said, ‘You must be on your guard against vigilance and protectionism in an improper instance because it can lead the ones (of women) with perfect manners into one of ill-behaving one, however, you must fortify their (women’s) condition and if you find a defect then hasten to disapprove it regardless it is small or large. If you find their behavior doubtful, then the sin becomes great and deviation becomes easy.’”
