1. Abu Ali al-Ash’ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Safwan ibn Yahya from Ishaq ibn ‘Ammar who has said the following:

“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah , about the right of woman on her husband for which when he yields is a man of good deeds. He (the Imam) said, ‘He must provide her sufficient food, clothes and forgive her if she acted ignorantly.’ Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘My father had a woman who would disappoint him (the Imam) but he would forgive her.’”
