Gambling and Looting

Hadith #9

9- عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ الْمَيْسِرُ هُوَ الْقِمَارُ.

9. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Al-Washsha” who has said the following: “I once heard abu al-Hassan , saying, ‘Al-Maysir is gambling.’”
