Hadith #8

8- صَفْوَانُ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ لأبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) الدَّرَاهِمُ بِالدَّرَاهِمِ وَالرَّصَاصِ فَقَالَ الرَّصَاصُ بَاطِلٌ.

8. Safwan has narrated from Ishaq ibn ‘Ammar who has said the following: “This is concerning my question before abu ‘Abd Allah , if exchange of dirham for dirham and lead was permissible. He (the Imam) said, ‘Lead is not valid . 555
