20. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn ‘Isma’il from Muhammad ibn al-Fudayl from abu al-Sabbah al-Kinaniy who has said the following:

“This is concerning my question before abu ‘Abd Allah , about the case of a man who said to a jeweler, ‘Make for me this ring in exchange for one fresh dirham with one mixed dirham.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not unlawful.’”
