Aḥmad b. Muḥammad b. Yaḥyā al-ʿAṭṭār narrated to us, saying that my father narrated to him among others, from Sahl b. Ziyād al-Azdī, from Manṣūr b. al-ʿAbbās, from ʿAmrū b. Saʿīd, from al-Ḥasan b. Ṣadaqa, who reported that Abū’l-Ḥasan عليه السلام has said: “Take a midday nap, for Allāh feeds and quenches the thirst of the fasting person while he is in his sleep.”
