حدثنا أبي رحمه الله، قال: حدثنا علي بن إبراهيم، عن أبيه، عن محمد بن أبي عمير، عن السلمان الأرمني، عن أبي عبد الله (عليه السلام)، قال: إذا رأى الصائم قوماً يأكلون أو رجلاً يأكل سبحت كل شعرة منه.
My father رحمه الله narrated to us, saying that ʿAlī b. Ibrāhīm narrated to him among others, from his father, from Muḥammad b. Abī ʿUmayr, from al-Salmān al-Urmunī, from Abī ʿAbd Allāh عليه السلام, who said: “Were the fasting person to see a group of people eating food, or a single man doing so, the fasting person’s hairs—each and every one of them—would engage in glorification (of Allāh).”
