My father رحمه الله narrated to us, saying that Saʿd b. ʿAbd Allāh narrated to him among others, saying that Aḥmad b. Muḥammad b. ʿĪsā narrated to him among others, from ʿAlī b. al-Ḥakam, from ʿAbd al-Mālik b. ʿUtba, from Isḥāq b. ʿAmmār, from Yaḥyā b. Abī’l-ʿAlī, from Abī ʿAbd Allāh عليه السلام, who has stated: “The one who fasts in the month of Ramaḍān while traveling is like the one who has broken his fast at home.”
