2. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from certain individuals of our people who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah has said that if you wish to visit al-Husayn
, you should visit him when you feel sad, faced with hardship, in an untidy physical condition, hungry and thirsty. Ask him to help you for your wishes, then move away and do not adopt it as your place of residence.”
