It has been narrated from Muhammad ibn Muslim, from one of the Imams عليه السلام, who said: I asked him: "Can a person in the state of ihram remove grass from outside the Haram?" Imam عليه السلام replied: "Yes." I then asked: "What about from within the Haram?" Imam عليه السلام replied: "No."
