3077 - وَ رَوَى اَلْعَلاَءُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَحَدِهِمَا عَلَيْهِمَا اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ : سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ اَلْهَدْيِ اَلْوَاجِبِ إِنْ أَصَابَهُ كَسْرٌ أَوْ عَطَبٌ أَ يَبِيعُهُ وَ إِنْ بَاعَهُ مَا يَصْنَعُ بِثَمَنِهِ قَالَ «إِنْ بَاعَهُ فَلْيَتَصَدَّقْ بِثَمَنِهِ وَ يُهْدِي هَدْياً آخَرَ».
Hadith.3077 - Al-Ala narrated from Muhammad ibn Muslim, from one of the Imams , who said:
I asked him about a hady (obligatory sacrificial animal) that suffers a fracture or injury—can it be sold, and if sold, what should be done with its price?
Imam
replied: "If he sells it, he should give its price in charity and offer another sacrificial animal."
