3. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Yunus ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Hajjaj who has said the following:
“I once asked abu al-Hassan , about a man to whom dirhams are given for distribution among deserving people and himself is a deserving person, if he can take a certain amount for himself. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not harmful to take like what he gives to the other persons. However, it is not permissible for him to take for himself if he is instructed to give it to definite causes, unless with the permission of the donator.’”
