4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from abu ibn al-Bakhtariy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah عليه السلام, has said, ‘Zakat is not due on the assets of al-Mukatib (a slave who has contracted his freedom in exchange for a certain amount of payment to his owner).”’
