1ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ لَيْسَ فِي مَالِ الْمَمْلُوكِ شَيْءٌ وَلَوْ كَانَ لَهُ أَلْفُ أَلْفٍ وَلَوِ احْتَاجَ لَمْ يُعْطَ مِنَ الزَّكَاةِ شَيْئاً.
1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘Umayr from ’Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘Zakat is not due on the asset of slaves even if it amounts to a million; but they cannot receive Zakat if they become needy.”’
2ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَجَّاجِ قَالَ قُلْتُ لأَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ أَهْلِنَا مُخْتَلِطَةٌ أَ عَلَيْهَا زَكَاةٌ فَقَالَ إِنْ كَانَ عُمِلَ بِهِ فَعَلَيْهَا زَكَاةٌ وَإِنْ لَمْ يُعْمَلْ بِهِ فَلاَ.
2. Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il has narrated from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan, from ibn abu ‘Umayr from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Hajjaj who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, about the case of one of our women who is mixed (with insanity) if she is required to pay Zakat. He (the Imam) said, ‘If her assets are made to work, then Zakat is obligatory on her, but if it is not made to work, Zakat is not obligatory.’”
3ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ مَعْرُوفٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مَهْزِيَارَ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ بَكْرٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) عَنِ امْرَأَةٍ مُصَابَةٍ وَلَهَا مَالٌ فِي يَدِ أَخِيهَا هَلْ عَلَيْهِ زَكَاةٌ فَقَالَ إِنْ كَانَ أَخُوهَا يَتَّجِرُ بِهِ فَعَلَيْهِ زَكَاةٌ. عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَمَاعَةَ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ بَكْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدٍ صَالِحٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) مِثْلَهُ.
3. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad from al-‘Abbas ibn Ma’ruf from Ali ibn Mahziyar from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from Muhammad ibn al-Fudayl from Musa ibn Bakr who has said the following: “I once asked abu al-Hassan, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, about a woman who is affected mentally and she has an asset which is in the hands of her brother, if there is Zakat on it. He (the Imam) said, ‘If her brother does business with it Zakat is obligatory.’” A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn abu Nasr from Muhammad ibn Sama‘ah from Musa ibn Bakr from Salih a similar Hadith.”
4ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْبَخْتَرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ لَيْسَ فِي مَالِ الْمُكَاتَبِ زَكَاةٌ.
4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from abu ibn al-Bakhtariy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘Zakat is not due on the assets of al-Mukatib (a slave who has contracted his freedom in exchange for a certain amount of payment to his owner).”’
5ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ عَنِ الْخَشَّابِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ سِنَانٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ لأَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) مَمْلُوكٌ فِي يَدِهِ مَالٌ أَ عَلَيْهِ زَكَاةٌ قَالَ لاَ قُلْتُ وَلاَ عَلَى سَيِّدِهِ قَالَ لاَ إِنَّهُ لَمْ يَصِلْ إِلَى سَيِّدِهِ وَلَيْسَ هُوَ لِلْمَمْلُوكِ.
5. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn al-Khashshab from Ali ibn al-Husayn from Muhammad ibn abu Hamzah from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, about the case of a slave who has an asset; if there is Zakat on it. He (the Imam) said, ‘No, Zakat is not due on it.’ I then asked, ‘Is his owner required to pay Zakat?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘No, because it (asset) cannot go to his owner and it is not for the slave.’”
