14. Abu Ali al-Ash’ariy has narrated from those whom he has mentioned from Hafs ibn ‘Umar from Salim from abu Basir who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah عليه السلام, has said that one (Muslim) who does not pay zakat dies as a Jew or a Christian; (he is given the chance to choose).”
