1. Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il has narrated from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Rib‘i and Muhammad ibn Yahya from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from Sama‘ah all who has said the following:

“Abu ’Abd Allah , has said that Abu ’Abd Allah , has said, ‘The time of al-Dhuhr on Friday begins at Zawal (declining of the sun toward the west at noontime).”
