1ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ سَمَاعَةَ جَمِيعاً عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ وَقْتُ الظُّهْرِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ حِينَ تَزُولُ الشَّمْسُ.
1. Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il has narrated from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Rib‘i and Muhammad ibn Yahya from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from Sama‘ah all who has said the following: “Abu ’Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said that Abu ’Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘The time of al-Dhuhr on Friday begins at Zawal (declining of the sun toward the west at noontime).”
2ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ سِنَانٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) إِذَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَابْدَأْ بِالْمَكْتُوبَةِ.
2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Yunus ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘On Friday when it is Zawal (declining of the sun to ward the west at noontime), then you can begin the obligatory Salah (prayer).”’
3ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ السِّمْطِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) عَنْ وَقْتِ صَلاَةِ الْعَصْرِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَقَالَ فِي مِثْلِ وَقْتِ الظُّهْرِ فِي غَيْرِ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ.
3. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from al-Nadr ibn Suwayd from Muhammad ibn abu Hamzah from Sufyan ibn al-Simt who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, about the time of al-‘Asr Salah (prayer) on Friday. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is at the time of al-Dhuhr Salah (prayer) during the days other than Fridays.’”
4ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَقَالَ نَزَلَ بِهَا جَبْرَئِيلُ (عَلَيْهِم الْسَّلام) مُضَيَّقَةً إِذَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ فَصَلِّهَا قَالَ قُلْتُ إِذَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ صَلَّيْتُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ صَلَّيْتُهَا فَقَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) أَمَّا أَنَا إِذَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ لَمْ أَبْدَأْ بِشَيْءٍ قَبْلَ الْمَكْتُوبَةِ قَالَ الْقَاسِمُ وَكَانَ ابْنُ بُكَيْرٍ يُصَلِّي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ شَاكٌّ فِي الزَّوَالِ فَإِذَا اسْتَيْقَنَ الزَّوَالَ بَدَأَ بِالْمَكْتُوبَةِ فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ.
4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Khalid from al-al-Qasim ibn ‘Urwah from Muhammad ibn abu ‘Umayr who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, about Salah (prayer) of Friday. He (the Imam) said, ‘ Jibril brought it with a short period of time. When it is Zawal (declining of the sun toward the west at noontime) then perform it.’ I (the narrator) then asked, ‘When it is Zawal, must I perform two Rak‘at, then Friday Salah (prayer)?’ Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, said, ‘I, however, when it is Zawal, do not begin anything before obligatory Salah (prayer).’ Al-Qasim has said that ibn Bukayr would perform two Rak‘at when he had doubts about the commencement of Zawal. When he became certain of the commencement of Zawal he commenced the obligatory Salah (prayer) on Friday.’” (The following chapter is best explained in the form of fatwa.)
