7. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Muhammad ibn Sinan from Talhah ibn Zayd who has said the following:

“Abu ’Abd Allah , has said that sprinkling water over a new grave was during the time of the Messenger of Allah.”
