1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn and Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan from Safwan ibn Yahya from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Hajjaj who has said the following: “I once asked abu al-Hassan, al-Rida , about how to go about for Wudu’ on a broken part (to be washed or wiped for Wudu’) with bandage or a wound on them, or when taking a Ghusl (bath) due to sexual relation or Friday Ghusl (bath). He (the Imam) said, ‘One must wash the parts that are not covered by the bandage and leave the parts that are not accessible because of it, one must not remove the bandage and must not play around with the wound.”’
