Al-Husayn b. Yahya b. Durays al-Bajali narrated to us. He said: My father narrated to us. He said: Abu `Awana narrated to us. He said: My father narrated to us. He said: `Abdullah b. Maslama al-Qa`nabi narrated to us. He said: `Abdullah b. Lahi`a narrated to us from Muhammad b. `Abd al-Rahman b. `Urwa b. al-Zubayr from his father from his grandfather. He said:

A man insulted `Ali b. Abi Talib in the presence of `Umar b. al-Khattab, so `Umar said to him: Do you know who owns this grave? Muhammad b. `Abdullah b. `Abd al-Muttalib and `Ali b. Abi Talib b. `Abd al-Muttalib. Do not mention `Ali except in goodness, for surely, if you [speak of him] disparagingly, you hurt the one in his grave.
