9 - حدثنا أحمد بن محمد بن يحيى العطار (رضي الله عنه)، قال: حدثنا سعد ابن عبد الله، قال: حدثنا محمد بن الحسين بن أبي الخطاب، قال: حدثني أبو حفص عمرو بن خالد، عن أخيه سفيان بن خالد، عن أبي عبد الله الصادق جعفر بن محمد (عليه السلام)، قال:
من استغفر الله عز وجل بعد العصر سبعين مرة غفر الله له ذلك اليوم سبعمائة ذنب، فإن لم يكن له فلابيه، فإن لم يكن لابيه فلامه، فإن لم يكن لامه فلاخيه، فإن لم يكن لاخيه فلاخته، فإن لم يكن لاخته فللاقرب فالاقرب (1).

narrated to us. He said: Sa`d b. `Abdillah narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. al-Husayn b. Abi’l Khattab narrated to us. He said: Abu Hafs `Amr b. Khalid narrated to me from his brother Sufyan b. Khalid from Abi `Abdillah al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad 
. He said:
Whoever repents to Allah seventy times after `Asr, Allah forgives seven hundred sins that day from him. If he does not have any [sins], then those of his father. If his father does not have any, then those of his mother. If his mother does not any, then those of his brother. If his brother does not have any, then those of his sister. If his sister does not have any, then those of his nearest relatives, then his [next] nearest relatives [and so on].
