Muhammad b. al-Hasan b. Ahmad b. al-Walid narrated to us. He said: Al-Husayn b. al-Hasan b. Aban narrated to us from al-Husayn b. Sa`id from al-qasim b. Muhammad from Ishaq b. Harun from Harun b. Hamza al-Ghanwi. He said: I heard al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad say:

Allah designated four thousand angels to weep at the grave of al-Husayn until the Day of Resurrection – they are disheveled and dusty. Whoever visits him, recognizing his right, they (the angels) will be party to him until he reaches his home; if he becomes ill, they will visit him morning and evening; and if he dies, they will attend his funeral and seek forgiveness for him until the Day of Resurrection.
