Muhammad b. al-Hasan narrated to us. He said: Al-Husayn b. al-Hasan b. Aban narrated to us from al-Husayn b. Sa`id from Ibn Abi `Umayr from Hammad b. `Uthman from Isma`il al-Ju`fi. He heard Aba Ja`far al-Baqir say:

The Messenger of Allah (s) said: I have been given five things that were not given to anyone before me: (1) The Earth has been made a pure place of prostration (masjid) for me, (2) spoils have been permitted to me, (3) I have been supported by fear, (4) I have been given comprehensive language (jawami` al-kalim), and (5) I have been granted the ability to intercede.
