My father narrated to me. He said: Sa`d b. `Abdullah narrated to me from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. `Isa from al-Husayn b. Sayf from Salam b. Ghanim from al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad . He said:

Whoever says “there is no god but Allah (la ilaha illallah)” one hundred times when he goes to his bed, Allah builds a house for him in Paradise. Whoever repents (istighfar) one hundred times when he goes to his bed, his sins will erode just as the leaves of a tree fall.
