حَدَّثَنِی جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَسْرُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِیلَ عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ الْحَکَمِ عَنْ دَاوُدَ الْعِجْلِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی بَصِیرٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ فَذَکَرَ اسْمَ اللَّهِ طَهُرَ جَمِیعُ جَسَدِهِ وَ کَانَ الْوُضُوءُ إِلَی الْوُضُوءِ کَفَّارَهً لِمَا بَیْنَهُمَا مِنَ الذُّنُوبِ وَ مَنْ لَمْ یُسَمِّ لَمْ یَطْهُرْ مِنْ جَسَدِهِ إِلَّا مَا أَصَابَهُ الْمَاءُ.
1. It was narrated to me by Ja’far b. Muhammad b. Masroor who said it was narrated to me by al-Hassan b. Muhammad b. ’Amir from his uncle Abdillah b. ’Amir from Muhammad b. Ismail from Ali b. al-Hakam from Dawud al-’Ijli from Abi Basir from Abi Abdillah who said: “One who utters a name of Allah while performing ablution his whole body will become pure. All his sins between two ablutions will be wiped off. One who does not utter a name of Allah while performing ablution only the parts of body concerned with ablution will become pure and not his whole body.”
