1. It was narrated to me by Ja’far b. Muhammad b. Masroor who said it was narrated to me by al-Hassan b. Muhammad b. ’Amir from his uncle Abdillah b. ’Amir from Muhammad b. Ismail from Ali b. al-Hakam from Dawud al-’Ijli from Abi Basir from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “One who utters a name of Allah while performing ablution his whole body will become pure. All his sins between two ablutions will be wiped off. One who does not utter a name of Allah while performing ablution only the parts of body concerned with ablution will become pure and not his whole body.”

2. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan al-Saffar from Muawiyah b. Hakeem from Abdillah b. al-Mughira from Abdillah b. Muskan from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “A person who utters the name of Allah while performing ablution is like one who has performed a Ghusl.”
