4. Muhammad ibn al-Hasan ibn Ahmad ibn al-Walid said: Muhammad ibn Yahya al-`Attar said, on the authority of Sahl ibn Ziyad, on the authority of al-Hasan ibn Musa al-Khashshab, on the authority of some of the ones he transmits from hurrying the transmission, that Abu `Abd Allah al-Sadiq was questioned about the Word of Allah, the Mighty and High:

The Most Compassionate is firm on the Empyrean, so he replied, “He is equal in distance to everything. Therefore, He is not closer to one thing than another.”
