قال محمد بن الحسن هذا خبر شاذ لا يعمل عليه لانا قد بينا أن من زاد في الصلاة وعلم ذلك يجب عليه استيناف الصلاة وإذا شك في الزيادة فانه يسجد السجدتين المرغمتين ويجوز أن يكون عليه السلام إنما فعل ذلك لان قول واحد له لم يكن مما يقطع به ويجوز أن يكون كان غلطا منه وإنما سجد السجدتين احتياطا
Muhammad ibn al-Hasan said: “This is an isolated (shadh) report which is not acted upon, because we have already clarified that whoever adds to the prayer and is certain of it must begin the prayer anew. And if he doubts whether he added something, then he performs the two prostrations known as al-marghimatan (the two humiliators (f satan)). It is also possible that the Imam عليه السلام, peace be upon him, only did so because the statement of a single individual was not sufficient to establish certainty. And it is possible that the report involves a mistake, and he only performed the two prostrations as a precaution.
