1 - حدثنا الشيخ الجليل أبو جعفر محمد بن علي بن الحسين بن موسى ابن بابويه القمي (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا أبي (رضي الله عنه)، قال: حدثنا سعد بن عبد الله، عن أحمد بن أبي عبد الله، قال: حدثني محمد بن تسنيم، عن العباس بن عامر، عن ابن بكير، عن سلام بن غانم، عن الصادق جعفر بن محمد، عن آبائه (عليهم السلام)، أن رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله) قال: من قم مسجدا (1) كتب الله له عتق رقبة، ومن أخرج منه ما يقذي عينا كتب الله عز وجل له كفلين (2) من رحمته (3).

Abu Ja`far Muhammad b. `Ali b. al-Husayn b. Musa b. Babuwayh al-Qummi (rh) narrated to us. He said: My father (ra) narrated to us. He said: Sa`d b. `Abdullah narrated to us from Ahmad b. Abi `Abdullah. He said: Muhammad b. Tasnim narrated to me from al-`Abbas b. `Amer from Ibn Bukayr from Salam b. Ghanim from al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad from his forefathers (as). The Messenger of Allah (s) said: Whomever sweeps up a mosque, Allah will record the freeing of a slave for him. Whoever comes out of it with something in his eye (a speck of dust), Allah will record double His mercy for him.

2 - حدثنا محمد بن الحسن بن أحمد بن الوليد (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا محمد بن أبي القاسم، عن محمد بن علي القرشي، عن محمد بن سنان، عن المفضل ابن عمر، عن يونس بن ظبيان، عن الصادق جعفر بن محمد (عليهما السلام)، قال: بينا موسى بن عمران (عليه السلام) يناجي ربه عز وجل إذ رأى رجلا تحت ظل عرش  الله عز وجل، فقال: يا رب، من هذا الذي قد أظله عرشك؟ فقال: هذا كان بار بوالديه، ولم يمش بالنميمة (1).

Muhammad b. al-Hasan b. Ahmad b. al-Walid (rh) narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. Abi’l Qasim narrated to us from Muhammad b. `Ali al-Qurashi from Muhammad b. Sinan from al-Mufaddal b. `Umar from Yunus b. Thibyan from al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad (as). He said: Musa b. `Imran was speaking to his Lord when he saw a man in the shade beneath the Throne of Allah. So, he said: O Lord! Who is this that is shaded by Your Throne? So, He said: He was good to his parents, and he would not spread gossip.

3 - حدثنا جعفر بن علي بن الحسن بن علي بن عبد الله بن المغيرة الكوفي، قال: حدثني جدي الحسن بن علي، عن جده عبد الله بن المغيرة، عن إسماعيل بن مسلم، عن الصادق جعفر بن محمد، عن أبيه، عن آبائه (علهيم السلام)، قال: قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): عجب لمن يحتمي من الطعام مخافة الداء، كيف لا يحتمي من الذنوب مخافة النار (2)!

He said: My grandfather al-Hasan b. `Ali narrated to me from his grandfather `Abdullah b. al-Mughira from Isma`il b. Muslim from al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad from his father from his forefathers (as). He said: The Messenger of Allah (s) said: I am astonished at he who avoids food in fear of disease – why does he not avoid sins in fear of Hell?!

4 - حدثنا الحسين (3) بن أحمد بن إدريس (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا أبي، عن محمد بن أحمد بن يحيى بن عمران الاشعري (4)، عن محمد بن علي، عن عيسى بن عبد الله العلوي العمري، عن أبيه، عن آبائه، عن علي (عليهما السلام)، قال: قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): اللهم ارحم خلفائي، ثلاثا. قيل: يا رسول الله، ومن خلفاؤك؟ قال: الذين يبلغون (5) حديثي وسنتي، ثم يعلمونها أمتي (6).

Al-Husayn b. Ahmad b. Idris (rh) narrated to us. He said: My father narrated to us from Muhammad b Ahmad b Yahya b. `Imran al-Ash`ari from Muhammad b. `Ali rom `Isa b. `Abdullah al-`Alawi al-`Amri from his father from his forefathers from `Ali (as). He said: The Messenger of Allah (s) said: O Allah, have mercy on my vicegerents (khulafa’i) – three times. It was said: O Messenger of Allah! Who are your vicegerents? He said: Those who convey my narrations and my Sunna, then teach them to my Nation.

5 - حدثنا علي بن أحمد بن عبد الله بن أحمد بن أبي عبد الله البرقي، قال: حدثني أبي، عن جده أحمد بن أبي عبد الله، عن محمد بن علي القرشي، عن محمد بن سنان، عن عبد الله بن طلحة وإسماعيل بن جابر وعمار بن مروان، عن الصادق جعفر بن محمد (عليه السلام): أن عيسى بن مريم (عليه السلام) توجه في بعض حوائجه ومعه ثلاثة نفر من أصحابه، فمر بلبنات ثلاث من ذهب على ظهر الطريق، فقال عيسى (عليه السلام) لاصحابه: إن هذا يقتل الناس. ثم مضى، فقال أحدهم: إن لي  حاجة. قال: فانصرف، ثم قال آخر: إن لي حاجة. فانصرف، ثم قال الآخر: لي حاجة. فانصرف، فوافوا عند الذهب ثلاثتهم، فقال اثنان لواحد: اشتر لنا طعاما. فذهب ليشتري لهما طعاما، فجعل فيه سما ليقتلهما كي لا يشاركاه في الذهب، وقال الاثنان: إذ جاء قتلناه كي لا يشاركنا. فلما جاء قاما إليه فقتلاه، ثم تغذيا فماتا، فرجع إليهم عيسى (عليه السلام) وهم موتى حوله، فأحياهم بإذن الله تعالى ذكره، ثم قال: ألم أقل لكم: إن هذا يقتل الناس؟! (1).

`Ali b. Ahmad b. `Abdullah b. Ahmad b. Abi `Abdullah al-Barqi narrated to us. He said: My father narrated to me from his grandfather Ahmad b. Abi `Abdullah from Muhammad b. `Ali al-Qurashi from Muhammad b. Sinan from `Abdullah b. Talha and Isma`il b. Jabir and `Amer b. Mehran from al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad (as). `Isa b. Maryam (as) went forth to fulfill a need of his, and he had three of his companions with him. He passed by three bars of gold on the road. So, `Isa (as) said to his companions: Surely, this kills people. Then, he continued walking. So, one of them said: I have a need. He said: So, he left. Then, another one said: I have a need. So, he left. Then, the last one said: I have a need. So, he left. The three of them had gone to the gold. Two of them said to one of them: Buy us food. So, he went to buy food for the two of them. He put poison in it so that he may kill them and not share the gold with them. The two said: When he comes, let us kill him so that we do not have to share with him. When he came, they went to him and killed him. Then, they ate, and they both died. So, `Isa (as) returned to him, and they were dead around him. So, he resurrected them by the permission of Allah; then said: Did I not tell you that this kills people?!

6 - حدثنا محمد بن موسى بن المتوكل (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا علي بن الحسين السعد آبادي، عن أحمد بن محمد بن خالد، عن أبيه، عن صفوان بن يحيى، عن محمد بن أبي الهزهاز، عن علي بن السري، قال: سمعت أبا عبد الله الصادق (عليه السلام) يقول: إن الله عز وجل جعل أرزاق المؤمنين من حيث لم يحتسبوا، وذلك أن العبد إذا لم يعرف وجه رزقه كثر دعاؤه (2).

أبا عبد الله الصادق عليه السلام

يقول

Muhammad b. Musa b. al-Mutawakkil (rh) narrated to us. He said: `Ali b. al-Husayn al-Sa`d Abadi narrated to us from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Khalid from his father from Safwan b. Yahya from Muhammad b. Abi’l Hajhaz from `Ali b. al-Sirri. He said: I heard Aba `Abdillah al-Sadiq (as) say: Surely, Allah put the sustenance of the believers in places that he does not expect. This is because, if a servant does not know where to find his sustenance, he increases in his supplications.

7 - حدثنا أحمد بن علي بن إبراهيم (رحمه الله)، قال حدثنا أبي، عن أبيه إبراهيم بن هاشم، عن حماد بن عيسى، عن الحسين بن المختار، عن أبي بصير، عن أبي عبد الله (عليه السلام)، قال: درهم ربا أعظم عند الله من ثلاثين زنية كلها بذات محرم مثل خالة وعمة (3).

Ahmad b. `Ali b. Ibrahim (rh) narrated to us. He said: My father narrated to us from his father Ibrhaim b. Hashim from Hammad b. `Isa from al-Husayn b. al-Mukhtar from Abi Basir from Abi `Abdillah (as). He said: One silver coin [earned] in usury is more significant to Allah than fornicating thirty times with mahrams, like aunts and uncles.

8 - حدثنا علي بن محمد بن الحسن القزويني المعروف بابن مقبرة، قال: حدثنا محمد بن عبد الله الحضرمي، قال: حدثنا جندل بن والق، قال: حدثنا محمد ابن عمر المازني، عن عباد الكليبي، عن جعفر بن محمد، عن أبيه، عن علي بن الحسين، عن فاطمة الصغرى، عن الحسين بن علي، عن أمه فاطمة بنت محمد (صلوات الله عليهم)، قالت: خرج علينا رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله) عشية عرفة فقال: إن الله تبارك وتعالى باهى  بكم وغفر لكم عامة، ولعلي خاصة، وإني رسول الله إليكم غير محاب لقرابتي، هذا جبرئيل يخبرني أن السعيد كل السعيد حق السعيد من أحب عليا في حياته وبعد موته، وأن الشقي كل الشقي حق الشقي من أبغض عليا في حياته وبعد وفاته (1).

عشية عرفة فقال

`Ali b. Muhammad b. al-Hasan al-Qazwini, known as Ibn Muqbara, narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. `Abdullah al-Hadrami narrated to us. He said: Jundal b. Waliq narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. `Umar al-Mazini narrated to us from `Ibad al-Kulaybi from Ja`far b. Muhammad from his father from `Ali b. al-Hasan from Fatima al-Sughra from al-Husayn b. `Ali from his mother Fatima bt. Muhammad (s). She said: The Messenger of Allah (s) came out to us on the eve of `Arafat and said: Surely, Allah has dignified and forgiven you all in general, and `Ali in particular. Surely, I am the Messenger of Allah to you rather than [just] a lover of my relatives. Gabriel here informs me that all true happiness is for one who loves `Ali in his life and after his death, and that all true wretchedness is for one who hates `Ali in his life and after his passing.

9 - حدثنا أحمد بن الحسن القطان، قال: حدثنا أبو سعيد السكري، قال: أخبرنا محمد بن زكريا، قال: حدثنا العباس بن بكار، قال: حدثنا عبد الله بن المثنى، عن عمه ثمامة بن عبد الله، عن أنس بن مالك، عن أمه، قالت: ما رأت فاطمة (عليهما السلام) دما في حيض ولا في نفاس (2).

Ahmad b. al-Hasan al-Qattan narrated to us. He said: Abu Sa`id al-Sakri narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. Zakariyya informed us. He said: al-`Abbas b. Bakkar narrated to us. He said: `Abdullah b. al-Muthanna narrated to us from his uncle Thumama b. `Abdullah from Anas b. Malik from his mother. She said: Fatima (sa) did not see blood during menstruation nor in delivery.

10 - حدثنا أحمد بن زياد الهمداني (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثني علي بن إبراهيم، عن أبيه، عن إسماعيل بن مهران، عن درست بن أبي منصور، عن عيسى بن بشير، عن أبي حمزة، عن أبي جعفر (عليه السلام)، قال: لما حضرت علي بن الحسين (عليهما السلام) الوفاة ضمني إلى صدره، ثم قال: يا بني، أوصيك بما أوصاني به أبي (عليه السلام) حين حضرته الوفاة، وبما ذكر أن أباه أوصاه به، فقال: يا بني إياك وظلم من لا يجد عليك ناصرا إلا الله (3).
