يقول

Abu Ja`far Muhammad b. `Ali b. al-Husayn b. Musa b. Babuwayh al-Qummi (rh) narrated to us. He said: `Abd al-Rahman b. Muhammad b. Khalid narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. Darsatuwayh al-Farisi narrated to us. He said: `Abd al-Rahman b. Muhammad b. Mansur narrated to us. He said: Abu Dawud al-Tayalisi narrated to us. He said: Shu`ba narrated to us. He said: Hamad b. Abi Sulayman narrated to me from Anas.  He said: I heard the Prophet (s) said: Whoever fasts one day from Rajab out of faith and anticipation, Allah will put seventy trenches between him and the Fire. The width of each trench would be the distance between heaven and Earth.

حدثنا محمد بن إبراهيم بن إسحاق (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا أحمد بن محمد الكوفي، عن علي بن الحسن بن علي بن فضال، عن أبيه، عن أبي الحسن علي ابن موسى الرضا (عليه السلام) قال: من صام أول يوم من رجب رغبة في ثواب الله عز وجل وجبت له الجنة، ومن صام يوما في وسطه شفع في مثل ربيعة ومضر، ومن صام يوما في آخره جعله الله عز وجل من ملوك الجنة، وشفعه في أبيه وأمه،  وابنه وابنته، واخيه وأخته، وعمه وعمته، وخاله وخالته، ومعارفه وجيرانه، وإن كان فيهم مستوجب للنار (1).

Muhammad b. Ibrahim b. Ishaq (rh) narrated to us. He said: Ahmad b. Muhammad al-Kufi narrated to us from `Ali b. al-Husayn b. `Ali b. Faddal from his father from Abu’l Hasan `Ali b. Musa al-Rida (as). He said: Whoever fasts the first day of Rajab in hope for Allah’s reward, Paradise will be made mandatory for him. Whoever fasts a day in the middle [of Rajab] will be able to intercede for the like of Rabi` and Mudar. Whoever fasts a day at the end [of Rajab], Allah will make him from the kings of Paradise; and he will intercede for his father, his mother, his son, his daughter, his brother, his sister, his paternal uncle, his paternal aunt, his maternal uncle, his maternal aunt, his acquaintances, and his neighbours, even if Hell was made mandatory for some of them.

Al-Hasan b. `Abdullah b. Sa`id narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. Ahmad b. Hamdan al-Qurayshi narrated to us. He said: Al-Mughira b. Muhammad b. al-Mahlab narrated to us. He said: `Abd al-Ghaffar b. Muhammad b. Kathir al-Kilabi al-Kufi narrated to us from `Amr b. Thabit from Jabir from Abu Ja`far Muhammad b. `Ali b. al-Husayn from `Ali b. al-Husayn from his father (as). He said: The Messenger of Allah (s) said: One who loves me and loves my Ahl al-Bayt will benefit in seven places and will be rewarded generously: (1) at death, (2) in the grave, (3) at the Resurrection, (4) at the [giving of the] book, (5) at the Judgment, (6) at the scale, and (7) on the Path.

Muhammad b. al-Hasan b. Ahmad b. al-Walid (ra) narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. al-Hasan al-Saffar narrated to us. He said: Ahmad b. Abi `Abdullah al-Barqi narrated to us from Isma`il b. Mehran from Sayf b. `Amira from Sulayman b. Ja`far al-Nakha`I from Muhammad b. Muslim and others from Abu Ja`far Muhammad b. `Ali al-Baqir (as). He said: The Messenger of Allah (s) was asked about the best of worshipers, so he said: Those whom, if they do good, they are gladdened; and if they do evil, they seek forgiveness; and if they are given, they are thankful; and if they face calamity, they are patient; and if they get angry, they seek pardon.

أنه قال

Muhammad b. Musa al-Mutawakkil (rh) narrated to us. He said: `Ali b. al-Husayn al-Sa`d Abadi narrated to us from Ahmad b. Abi `Abdullah al-Barqi from his father from Zur`a from Sama`a b. Mehran from al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad from his father (as). He said: If a traveller prays Jumu`a out of desire for it, Allah will give him the reward of one hundred Jum`a prayers of one who is not travelling.

حدثنا محمد بن علي (رحمه الله)، عن عمه محمد بن أبي القاسم، عن محمد بن علي الكوفي، عن محمد بن سنان، عن زياد بن المنذر، عن سعيد بن جبير، عن ابن عباس، قال: قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): المخالف على علي بن أبي طالب بعدي كافر، والمشرك به مشرك، والمحب له مؤمن، والمبغض له منافق، والمقتفي لاثره لاحق، والمحارب له مارق، والراد عليه زاهق، علي نور الله في بلاده، وحجته على عباد، علي سيف الله على أعدائه، ووارث علم أنبيائه، علي كلمة الله العليا، وكلمة أعدائه السفلى، علي سيد الاوصياء، ووصي سيد الانبياء، علي أمير المؤمنين، وقائد الغر المحجلين، وإمام المسلمين، لا يقبل الله الايمان إلا بولايته وطاعته (2).

قال قال

Muhammad b. `Ali (rh) narrated to us from his uncle Muhammad b. Abi al-Qasim from Muhammad b. `Ali al-Kufi from Muhammad b. Sinan from Ziyad b. al-Mundhir from Sa`id b. Jubayr from Ibn `Abbas. He said: The Messenger of Allah (s) said: Whoever opposes `Ali b. Abi Talib after me is a disbeliever, and whoever associates partners with him is a polytheist. Whoever loves him is a believer, and whoever hates him is a hypocrite. Whoever pursues what he leaves behind is in pursuit [of Paradise], whoever is at war with him is a traitor, and whoever turns away from him is in falsehood. `Ali is the light of Allah in His cities, and His Proof over the worshipers. `Ali is the Sword of Allah upon His enemies, and the inheritor of the knowledge of His prophets. `Ali is the exalted word of Allah, and the words of his enemies are lowly. `Ali is the Master of the Deputies, and the Deputy of the Master of Prophets. `Ali is the Commander of the Faithful, the Leader of the shining believers, and the Imam of the Muslims. Allah does not accept faith except in his wilaya and his obedience.

7 - حدثنا محمد بن القاسم، قال: حدثنا يوسف بن محمد بن زياد وعلي ابن محمد بن يسار، عن أبو يهما، عن الحسن بن علي بن محمد بن علي بن موسى بن جعفر بن محمد بن علي بن الحسين بن علي بن أبي طالب (عليهم السلام)، عن أبيه، عن آبائه (عليهم السلام)، قال: قال رسول الله (صلى الله الله عليه وآله) لبعض أصحابه ذات يوم: يا عبد الله، أحبب في الله وأبغض في الله، ووال في الله، وعاد في الله، فإنه لا تنال ولاية الله إلا بذلك، ولا يجد رجل طعم الايمان وإن كثرت صلاته وصيامه حتى يكون كذلك، وقد صارت مؤاخاة الناس يومكم هذا أكثرها في الدنيا، عليها يتوادون، وعليها يتباغضون، وذلك لا يغني عنهم من الله شيئا. فقال له: وكيف لي أن أعلم أني قد واليت وعاديت في الله عز وجل، فمن ولي الله عز وجل حتى أو إليه، ومن عدوه حتى أعاديه؟ فأشار له رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله) إلى علي (عليه السلام)، وقال: أترى هذا؟ فقال: بلى. قال: ولي هذا ولي الله فواله، وعدو هذا عدو الله فعاده، وال ولي هذا ولو أنه قاتل أبيك وولدك، وعاد عدو هذا ولو أنه  أبوك وولدك (1).

Muhammad b. al-Qasim narrated to us. He said: Yusuf b. Muhammad b. Ziyad and `Ali b. Muhammad b. Yasar narrated to us from their fathers from al-Hasan b. `Ali b. Muhammad b. `Ali b. Musa b. Ja`far b. Muhammad b. `Ali b. al-Husayn b. `Ali b. Abi Talib (as) from his father from his forefathers (as). He said: The Messenger of Allah (s) said to one of his companions that day: O `Abdullah! Love in the way of Allah, hate in the way of Allah, befriend in the way of Allah, and oppose in the way of Allah, for the wilaya of Allah is only achieved through this. A man cannot taste faith, even if he increases his prayer and his fasting, until he does all this. In this day and age, the people are brotherly over this world – they love one another over it, and they hate one another over it; yet it will not make them free of the need for Allah. So, it was said to him: How will I know that I have befriended and opposed in the way of Allah? Who is the friend of Allah, so that I may befriend him; and who is His enemy, so that I may oppose him? So, the Messenger of Allah (s) pointed to `Ali (as) for him and said: Do you see this? So, he said: Of course. He said: His friend is the friend of Allah, so befriend him. His enemy is the enemy of Allah, so oppose him. Befriend his friend, even if he killed your father and your son; and oppose his enemy, even if he is your father or your son.

8 - حدثنا أبي (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا سعد بن عبد الله، قال: حدثنا أحمد بن محمد، عن أبيه، عن محمد بن زياد الازدي، عن أبان وغيره، عن أبي عبد الله (عليه السلام)، قال: إني لارحم ثلاثة وحق لهم أن يرحموا: عزيز قوم أصابته مذلة بعد العز، وغني أصابته حاجة بعد الغنى، وعالم يستخف به أهله والجهلة (2).

My father (rh) narrated to us. He said: Sa`d b. `Abdullah narrated to us. He said: Ahmad b. Muhammad narrated to us from his father from Muhammad b. Ziyad al-Azdi from Aban and other than him from Abu `Abdillah (as). He said: I pray for mercy for three – and it is their right to be prayed for mercy: (1) a person dear to his community who is afflicted with humiliation after glory, (2) a rich person that is afflicted with a need after needlessness, and (3) a scholar that is undervalued by his people and the ignorant.

- حدثنا محمد بن الحسن (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا محمد بن الحسن الصفار، قال: حدثنا العباس بن معروف، عن محمد بن سنان، عن غياث بن إبراهيم، عن الصادق جعفر بن محمد، عن أبيه، عن آبائه (عليهم السلام)، قال: قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): إنكم لن تسعوا الناس بأموالكم، فسعوهم بأخلاقكم (3).

Muhammad b. al-Hasan (rh) narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. al-Hasan al-Saffar narrated to us. He said: al-`Abbas b. Ma`ruf narrated to us from Muhammad b. Sinan from Ghiyath b. Ibrahim from al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad from his father from his forefathers (as). He said: The Messenger of Allah (s) said: You do not please the people with your wealth, so please them with your character.

10 - حدثنا أحمد بن محمد، قال: أخبرنا محمد بن علي بن يحيى، قال: حدثنا أبو بكر بن نافع، قال: حدثنا أمية بن خالد، قال: حدثنا حماد بن سلمة، قال: حدثنا علي بن زيد، عن علي بن الحسين، قال: سمعت أبي يحدث عن أبيه أمير المؤمنين علي بن أبي طالب (عليهم السلام) أنه قال: سمعت رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله) يقول: يا علي، والذي فلق الحبة وبرأ النسمة، إنك لافضل الخليقة بعدي. يا علي، أنت وصيي وإمام أمتي، من أطاعك أطاعني، ومن عصاك عصاني (4).

Ahmad b. Muhammad narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. `Ali b. Yahya narrated to us. He said: Abu Bakr b. Nafi` narrated to us. He said: Umayya b. Khalid narrated to us. He said: Hamid b. Salama narrated to us. He said: `Ali b. Zayd narrated to us from `Ali b. al-Husayn. He said: I heard my father narrate from his father Amir al-Mu’minin `Ali b. Abi Talib (as) narrate:  I heard the Messenger of Allah (s) say: O `Ali! You are the deputy and the Imam of my Nation. Whoever obeys you has obeyed me, and whoever disobeys you has disobeyed me.
