2. My father narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh ibn Abī Khalaf Al-Ash’ari, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from ‘Ali ibn Asbāť, from ‘Uthmān ibn ‘Isā, from Mu’allā ibn Abī Shihāb, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq ) said: Ḥusain (ibn ‘Ali ) asked the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ, “What is the reward for those who come to your Ziyārah?” He (the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ) replied: O my son! On the Day of Judgment, it will be my duty to go to the Ziyārah of those who have come to my Ziyārah during my life or after my death, or have come to the Ziyārah of your father, or to the Ziyārah of your brother, or to your Ziyārah, and to save them from their sins.

3. My father and Muḥammad ibn Ya’qūb both narrated to me from Aḥmad ibn Idrīs, from someone whose name he mentioned, from Muḥammad ibn Sinān, from Muḥammad ibn ‘Ali, who narrated that: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said (to ‘Ali ): O ‘Ali! I guarantee those who come to my Ziyārah during my life or after my death, or come to your Ziyārah during your life or after your death, or go to the Ziyārah of your two sons during their lives or after their death, that I will save them from the terrors and difficulties of the Day of Judgment and that I will take them with me to my position.

4. Muḥammad ibn Ya’qūb narrated to me from a group of our companions including Aḥmad ibn Idrīs and Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā, from ‘Amraki ibn ‘Ali, from Yaḥyā – who was the servant of Imam Jawād , from some of our companions who narrated from Muḥammad ibn ‘Ali ibn Ḥusain (Imam Bāqir ), who said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: On the Day of Judgment, I will go to the Ziyārah of those who have come to my Ziyārah or the Ziyārah of anyone from my progeny and I will save them from the terrors of that day.

5. Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan ibn ‘Ali ibn Mahziyār narrated to me from his father, Ḥasan ibn ‘Ali, from his grandfather ‘Ali ibn Mahziyār, from ‘Uthmān ibn ‘Isā, from Mu’allā ibn Abī Shihāb, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq ) said: Ḥusain ibn ‘Ali asked the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ, “O father! What is the reward for those who come to your Ziyārah?” He (the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ) replied: O my son!
