1 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي (رحمه الله) عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنِ السَّدُوسِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ (ص) مَنْ أَتَانِي زَائِراً كُنْتُ شَفِيعَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

1. My father narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from Ḥasan ibn Maḥbūb, from Abān, from Al-Sadūsi, from Abī ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)), who said: The Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) said: On the Day of Judgment, I will intercede for those who have come to my Ziyārah.

2 حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ (رحمه الله) عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجْرَانَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِأَبِي جَعْفَرٍ الثَّانِي (ع) جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ مَا لِمَنْ زَارَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ (ص) مُتَعَمِّداً قَالَ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ

2. Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan ibn Aḥmad narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan Al-Saffār, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from Ibn Abī Najrān, who said: I asked Abā Ja’far the Second (Imam Jawād (a.s.)), “May I sacrifice myself for you! What is the reward for those who go to the Ziyārah of the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) solely for (the purpose of) Ziyārah?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “(Their reward is) Paradise.”

3 حَدَّثَنِي جَمَاعَةٌ مِنْ مَشَايِخِنَا عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ حُكَيْمٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي نَجْرَانَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ (ع) عَمَّنْ زَارَ قَبْرَ النَّبِيِّ (ص) قَاصِداً قَالَ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ

3. A group of our scholars narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from Mu’āwiyah ibn Ḥukaym, from ‘Abdil Raḥmān ibn Abī Najrān, who said: I asked Abā Ja’far (Imam Jawād (a.s.)) about the reward for those who go to the Ziyārah of the grave of the Prophet (s.a.a.w.) with the (sole) intention of Ziyārah. Imam (a.s.) replied, “(Their reward is) Paradise.”

4 حَدَّثَنِي جَمَاعَةٌ مِنْ مَشَايِخِنَا بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي نَجْرَانَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ الثَّانِي (ع) قَالَ قُلْتُ مَا لِمَنْ زَارَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ (ص) مُتَعَمِّداً قَالَ يُدْخِلُهُ اللَّهُ الْجَنَّةَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ

4. A group 0f our scholars narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from Mu’āwiyah ibn Ḥukaym, from ‘Abdil Raḥmān ibn Abī Najrān, who said: I asked Abā Ja’far the Second (Imam Jawād (a.s.)), “What is the reward for those who go to the Ziyārah of the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) solely for (the purpose of) Ziyārah?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “Allāh will take them to Paradise IN-SHĀ`ALLĀH.”

5 حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ الْحِمْيَرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ سَيْفِ بْنِ عَمِيرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ قَدْ أَمَرَنِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) أَنْ أُكْثِرَ الصَّلَاةَ فِي مَسْجِدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ (ص) مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ وَ قَالَ إِنَّكَ لَا تَقْدِرُ عَلَيْهِ كُلَّمَا شِئْتَ وَ قَالَ لِي تَأْتِي قَبْرَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ (ص) فَقُلْتُ نَعَمْ فَقَالَ أَمَا إِنَّهُ يَسْمَعُكَ مِنْ قَرِيبٍ وَ يُبْلَغُهُ [يَبْلُغُهُ عَنْكَ إِذَا كُنْتَ نَائِياً

5. Muḥammad ibn ‘Abdillāh ibn Ja’far Al-Ḥimyari narrated to me from his father, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from ‘Ali ibn Ḥakam, from Sayf ibn ‘Amīrah, from Abī Bakr Al-Ḥaďrami, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) ordered me to increasingly pray in the Mosque of the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) as much as I could. He told me that I would not be able to pray there whenever I wanted to. Imam (a.s.) asked me, “Do you go to the grave of the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.)?” “Yes,” I replied. Imam (a.s.) said, “Verily the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) hears your voice (if you perform his Ziyārah) from nearby and he will be informed of you (if you perform his Ziyārah) from far.”

6 وَ بِإِسْنَادِهِ عَنْ سَيْفِ بْنِ عَمِيرَةَ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) إِنِّي زِدْتُ جَمَّالِي دِينَارَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثَةً عَلَى أَنْ يَمُرَّ بِي إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ فَقَالَ قَدْ أَحْسَنْتَ أما مَا أَيْسَرَ هَذَا تَأْتِي قَبْرَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ (ص) أَمَا إِنَّهُ يَسْمَعُكَ مِنْ قَرِيبٍ وَ يُبْلَغُهُ يَبْلُغُهُ عَنْكَ مِنْ بَعِيدٍ

6. Muḥammad ibn ‘Abdillāh ibn Ja’far Al-Ḥimyari narrated to me from his father, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from ‘Ali ibn Ḥakam, from Sayf ibn ‘Amīrah, from ‘Āmir ibn ‘Abdillāh, who said: I said to Abī ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)), “I paid two or three extra gold coins to my cameleer to take me through Madīnah.” Imam (a.s.) replied, “You did well! How easy this was for you! And now you can come to the grave of the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) and say SALĀM to him.” Then Imam (a.s.) continued, “Verily the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) hears your voice (if you perform his Ziyārah) from nearby and he will be informed of you (if you perform his Ziyārah) from far.”

7 حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي نَجْرَانَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِأَبِي جَعْفَرٍ الثَّانِي (ع) جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ مَا لِمَنْ زَارَ قَبْرَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ (ص) مُتَعَمِّداً قَالَ يُدْخِلُهُ اللَّهُ الْجَنَّةَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ

7. Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan ibn Aḥmad ibn Walīd narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan Al-Saffār, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from ‘Abdil Raḥmān ibn Abī Najrān, who said: I asked Abā Ja’far the Second (Imam Jawād (a.s.)), “May I sacrifice my life for you! What is the reward for those who go to the Ziyārah of the grave of the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) solely for (the purpose of) Ziyārah?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “Allāh will take them to Paradise In-Shā`allāh.”

8 حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ عَنْ عِدَّةٍ مِنْ رِجَالِهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي نَجْرَانَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لأَبِي جَعْفَرٍ الثَّانِي (ع) جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ مَا لِمَنْ زَارَ قَبْرَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ (ص) مُتَعَمِّداً قَالَ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ

8. Muḥammad ibn Ya’qūb narrated to me from a group of his narrators, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from ‘Abdil Raḥmān ibn Abī Najrān, who said: I asked Abā Ja’far the Second (Imam Jawād (a.s.)), “May I sacrifice my life for you! What is the reward for those who go to the Ziyārah of the grave of the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) solely for (the purpose of) Ziyārah?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “(Their reward is) Paradise.”

9 حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ وَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بُنْدَارَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ الدَّيْلَمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي حُجْرٍ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ (ص) مَنْ أَتَى مَكَّةَ حَاجّاً وَ لَمْ يَزُرْنِي بِالْمَدِينَةِ جَفَوْتُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَ مَنْ زَارَنِي زَائِراً وَجَبَتْ لَهُ شَفَاعَتِي وَ مَنْ وَجَبَتْ لَهُ شَفَاعَتِي وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ وَ مَنْ مَاتَ فِي أَحَدِ الْحَرَمَيْنِ مَكَّةَ أَوِ الْمَدِينَةِ لَمْ يُعْرَضْ إِلَى الْحِسَابِ وَ مَاتَ مُهاجِراً إِلَى اللّهِ وَ حُشِرَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مَعَ أَصْحَابِ بَدْرٍ

9. Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan ibn Aḥmad ibn Walīd and Muḥammad ibn Ya’qūb both narrated to me from ‘Ali ibn Muḥammad ibn Bundār, from Ibrāhīm ibn Isḥāq, from Muḥammad ibn Sulaymān Al-Daylami, from Abī Juḥr Al-Aslami, from Abī ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)), who said: The Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) said: On the Day of Judgment, I will turn away from those who had come to Makkah for Hajj but did not come to Madīnah for my Ziyārah. It is obligatory that those who come to my Ziyārah are included in my intercession, and Paradise is obligatory for those who are included in my intercession. Those who die in one of the two ḤARAMs, either Makkah or Madīnah, will not be brought forth for judgment. They will be (considered) as those who have died while traveling toward Allāh, and they will be resurrected with the companions of the Battle of Badr on the Day of Judgment.

10 حَدَّثَنِي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنِ السَّدُوسِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ (ص) مَنْ أَتَانِي زَائِراً كُنْتُ شَفِيعَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

10. Ḥasan ibn ‘Abdillāh ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā narrated to me from his father, from Ḥasan ibn Maḥbūb, from Abān, from Al-Sadūsi, from Abī ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)), who said: The Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) said: On the Day of Judgment, I will intercede for those who have come to my Ziyārah.

11 حَدَّثَنِي حَكِيمُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَيْفٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ النَّخَعِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي يَحْيَى الْمَدَنِيُّ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ (ص) قَالَ مَنْ زَارَنِي فِي حَيَاتِي أَوْ بَعْدَ مَوْتِي كَانَ فِي جِوَارِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

11. Ḥukaym ibn Dāwūd ibn Ḥukaym narrated to me from Salamah ibn Khaťťāb, from ‘Ali ibn Sayf, from Faďl ibn Mālik Al-Nakha’i, from Ibrāhīm ibn Abī Yaḥyā Al-Madani, from Safwān ibn Sulaym, from his father, who said: The Prophet (s.a.a.w.) said: Those who come to my Ziyārah during my life or after my death will be my neighbours on the Day of Judgment.

12 وَ عَنْهُ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ سَيْفٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ النَّخَعِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ (ع) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ (ص) مَنْ زَارَنِي بَعْدَ وَفَاتِي كَانَ كَمَنْ زَارَنِي فِي حَيَاتِي وَ كُنْتُ لَهُ شَهِيداً وَ شَافِعاً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

12. Ḥukaym ibn Dāwūd ibn Ḥukaym narrated to me from Salamah ibn Khaťťāb, from ‘Ali ibn Sayf, from Sulaymān ibn ‘Umar Al-Nakha’i, from ‘Abdillāh ibn Ḥasan, from his father, (from his fathers), from ‘Ali ibn Abī Ťālib (a.s.), who said: The Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) said: Those who come to my Ziyārah after my death are like those who have come to visit me during my life, and I will be their witness and their intercessor on the Day of Judgment.

13 وَ عَنْهُ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنِ السَّدُوسِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ (ص) مَنْ أَتَانِي زَائِراً كُنْتُ لَهُ شَفِيعاً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

13. Ḥukaym ibn Dāwūd ibn Ḥukaym narrated to me from Salamah ibn Khaťťāb, from Ja’far ibn Bashīr, from Abān ibn ‘Uthmān, from Al-Sadūsi, from Abī ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)), who said: The Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) said: On the Day of Judgment, I will intercede for those who have come to my Ziyārah.

14 وَ عَنْهُ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي زَيْدُ بْنُ أَبِي زَيْدٍ الْهَرَويُّ عَنْ قطيبة [قُتَيْبَةَ] بْنِ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ (ص) مَنْ أَتَانِي زَائِراً فِي الْمَدِينَةِ مُحْتَسِباً كُنْتُ لَهُ شَفِيعاً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

14. Ḥukaym ibn Dāwūd ibn Ḥukaym narrated to me from Salamah ibn Khaťťāb, from Zayd ibn Abī Zayd Al-Hirawi, from Qutaybah ibn Sa’īd, who said: The Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) said: On the Day of Judgment, I will intercede for those who have come to Madīnah to my Ziyārah, anticipating (the reward from Allāh).

15 حَدَّثَنِي جَمَاعَةٌ مِنْ مَشَايِخِي رَحِمَهُمُ اللَّهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى وَ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ إِدْرِيسَ جَمِيعاً عَنْ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِنَا بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجْرَانَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لَهُ مَا لِمَنْ زَارَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ (ص) مُتَعَمِّداً قَالَ يُدْخِلُهُ اللَّهُ الْجَنَّةَ

15. A group of my scholars narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā, and from Aḥmad ibn Idrīs, from Salamah, from some of our companions, from Ibn Abī Najrān, who said: I asked him (Imam Jawād (a.s.)), “What is the reward for those who go to the Ziyārah of the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) solely for (the purpose of) Ziyārah?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “Allāh will take them to Paradise.”

16 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي وَ جَمَاعَةُ مَشَايِخِي عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنِ السَّدُوسِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ (ص) مَنْ أَتَانِي زَائِراً كُنْتُ شَفِيعَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

16. My father, and all of my scholars narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from his father, from Ḥasan ibn Maḥbūb, from Abān, from Al-Sadūsi, from Abī ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)), who said: The Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) said: On the Day of Judgment, I will intercede for those who have come to my Ziyārah.

17 حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْفَضْلِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُوسَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَشْعَثِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مُوسَى بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ (ص) مَنْ زَارَ قَبْرِي بَعْدَ مَوْتِي كَانَ كَمَنْ هَاجَرَ إِلَيَّ فِي حَيَاتِي فَإِنْ لَمْ تَسْتَطِيعُوا فَابْعَثُوا إِلَيَّ السَّلَامَ فَإِنَّهُ يَبْلُغُنِي

17. Abul Faďl Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad ibn Sulaymān narrated to me from Mūsā ibn Muḥammad ibn Mūsā, from Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad Al-Ash’ath, from Abil Ḥasan Mūsā ibn Ismā’īl ibn Mūsā ibn Ja’far, from his father, from his grandfather (Imam Kāżim (a.s.)), from his father Ja’far ibn Muḥammad (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)), from his father (Imam Bāqir (a.s.)), from ‘Ali ibn Ḥusain (Imam Sajjād (a.s.)), who said: The Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) said: Those who come to the Ziyārah of my grave after my death are like those who had immigrated to (live near) me during my life. However, if you cannot come to my Ziyārah, then send your Salām to me, for verily it will reach me.

18 حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ الْمُعَلَّى بْنِ أَبِي شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) قَالَ قَالَ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ (ع) لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ (ص) يَا أَبَتَاهْ مَا جَزَاءُ مَنْ زَارَكَ فَقَالَ (ص) يَا بُنَيَّ مَنْ زَارَنِي حَيّاً أَوْ مَيِّتاً كَانَ حَقّاً عَلَيَّ أَنْ أَزُورَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَ أُخَلِّصَهُ مِنْ ذُنُوبِهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي (رحمه الله) عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَبَانٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ بِإِسْنَادِهِ مِثْلَهُ

18. My father narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā, from Ḥusain ibn Sa’īd, from ‘Uthmān ibn ‘Isā, from Mu’allā ibn Abī Shihāb, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said: Ḥusain ibn ‘Ali (a.s.) asked the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.), “O father! What is the reward for those who come to your Ziyārah?” He (the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.)) replied, “O my son! On the Day of Judgment, it will be my duty to go to the Ziyārah of those who have come to my Ziyārah, during my life or after my death, and to save them from their sins.” The above Ḥadīth has also been narrated to me through the following chain: My father, from Ḥusain ibn Ḥasan ibn Abān, from Ḥusain ibn Sa’īd, from ‘Uthmān ibn ‘Isā, from Mu’allā ibn Abī Shihāb, from Abī ‘Abdillāh (a.s.).

19 حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الرَّزَّازُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْخَطَّابِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ جَمِيلِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنِ الْفُضَيْلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (ع) قَالَ إِنَّ زِيَارَةَ قَبْرِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ (ص) تَعْدِلُ حِجَّةً مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ (ص) مَبْرُورَةً

19. Muḥammad ibn Ja’far Al-Razzāz narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain ibn Abil Khaťťāb, from Ḥasan ibn Maḥbūb, from Jamīl ibn Sāliḥ, from Fuďayl ibn Yasār, who said: Abū Ja’far (Imam Bāqir (a.s.)) said: Verily (the reward for going to) the Ziyārah of the grave of the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) is equal to performing a purified Hajj with the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.).

20 وَ عَنْهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ زَيْدٍ الشَّحَّامِ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) مَا لِمَنْ زَارَ قَبْرَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ (ص) قَالَ كَمَنْ زَارَ اللَّهَ فِي عَرْشِهِ

20. Muḥammad ibn Ja’far Al-Razzāz narrated to me from Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain, from Muḥammad ibn Ismā’īl, from Sāliḥ ibn ‘Uqbah, from Zayd Al-Shaḥḥām, who said: I asked Abā ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)), “What is the reward for those who go to the Ziyārah of the grave of the Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.)?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “They are like those who perform the Ziyārah of Allāh on His Throne.”
