91. Ash-Shams
الشمس
al-Shams (The Sun)
ٱلشَّمْس
91:14
فَكَذَّبُوهُ
فَعَقَرُوهَا
فَدَمْدَمَ
عَلَيْهِمْ
رَبُّهُم
بِذَنبِهِمْ
فَسَوَّاهَا
fa-kadhdhabūhu fa-ʿaqarūhā fa-damdama ʿalayhim rabbuhum bi-dhanbihim fa-sawwāhā
However, they rejected him and slew her. So their Lord completely destroyed them and their city for their sins.
