أَلَمْ

تَرَ

كَيْفَ

فَعَلَ

رَبُّكَ

بِعَادٍ

ʾa-lam tara kayfa faʿala rabbuka bi-ʿādin

Seest thou not how thy Lord dealt with the 'Ad (people),-

— Abdullah Yusufali

Have you not regarded how your Lord dealt with [the people of] ‘Ad,

— Ali Quli Qarai
