al-A‘lā (The Most Exalted)

ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ

87:7

إِلَّا

مَا

شَاءَ

اللَّهُ

إِنَّهُ

يَعْلَمُ

الْجَهْرَ

وَمَا

يَخْفَى

ʾillā mā shāʾa llāhu ʾinnahū yaʿlamu l-jahra wa-mā yakhfā

unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden.
