وَلَا

تَكُونُوا

كَالَّذِينَ

قَالُوا

سَمِعْنَا

وَهُمْ

لَا

يَسْمَعُونَ

wa-lā takūnū ka-lladhīna qālū samiʿnā wa-hum lā yasmaʿūna

Nor be like those who say, "We hear," but listen not:

— Abdullah Yusufali

Do not be like those who say, ‘We hear,’ though they do not hear.

— Ali Quli Qarai
