al-A‘rāf (The Elevations)
ٱلْأَعْرَاف
7:32
قُلْ
مَنْ
حَرَّمَ
زِينَةَ
اللَّهِ
الَّتِي
أَخْرَجَ
لِعِبَادِهِ
وَالطَّيِّبَاتِ
مِنَ
الرِّزْقِ
قُلْ
هِيَ
لِلَّذِينَ
آمَنُوا
فِي
الْحَيَاةِ
الدُّنْيَا
خَالِصَةً
يَوْمَ
الْقِيَامَةِ
كَذَلِكَ
نُفَصِّلُ
الْآيَاتِ
لِقَوْمٍ
يَعْلَمُونَ
qul man ḥarrama zīnata llāhi llatī ʾakhraja li-ʿibādihī wa-ṭ-ṭayyibāti mina r-rizqi qul hiya li-lladhīna ʾāmanū fī l-ḥayāti d-dunyā khāliṣatan yawma l-qiyāmati ka-dhālika nufaṣṣilu l-ʾāyāti li-qawmin yaʿlamūna
(Muhammad), ask them, "Who has made it unlawful to maintain beauty and to eat the pure foods which God has created for His servants? They are made for the believers in this world and are exclusively for them in the life hereafter." Thus do We explain Our revelations to the people who have knowledge.
