al-A‘rāf (The Elevations)
ٱلْأَعْرَاف
7:180
وَلِلَّهِ
الْأَسْمَاءُ
الْحُسْنَى
فَادْعُوهُ
بِهَا
وَذَرُوا
الَّذِينَ
يُلْحِدُونَ
فِي
أَسْمَائِهِ
سَيُجْزَوْنَ
مَا
كَانُوا
يَعْمَلُونَ
wa-li-llāhi l-ʾasmāʾu l-ḥusnā fa-dʿūhu bihā wa-dharū lladhīna yulḥidūna fī ʾasmāʾihī sa-yujzawna mā kānū yaʿmalūna
God has the most blessed Names. You should address Him in your worship by these Names and keep away from those who pervert them. They will be recompensed for their (evil) deeds.
