al-Mujādilah (The Pleader)
ٱلْمُجَادِلَة
58:14
أَلَمْ
تَرَ
إِلَى
الَّذِينَ
تَوَلَّوْا
قَوْمًا
غَضِبَ
اللَّهُ
عَلَيْهِم
مَّا
هُم
مِّنكُمْ
وَلَا
مِنْهُمْ
وَيَحْلِفُونَ
عَلَى
الْكَذِبِ
وَهُمْ
يَعْلَمُونَ
ʾa-lam tara ʾilā lladhīna tawallaw qawman ghaḍiba llāhu ʿalayhim mā hum minkum wa-lā minhum wa-yaḥlifūna ʿalā l-kadhibi wa-hum yaʿlamūna
Have you not seen those who have established friendship with the people who are subject to the wrath of God? They do not belong to you nor you to them, yet they knowingly try to prove their point by using false oaths.
