القمر

al-Qamar (The Moon)

ٱلْقَمَر

54:12

وَفَجَّرْنَا

الْأَرْضَ

عُيُونًا

فَالْتَقَى

الْمَاءُ

عَلَى

أَمْرٍ

قَدْ

قُدِرَ

wa-fajjarnā l-ʾarḍa ʿuyūnan fa-ltaqā l-māʾu ʿalā ʾamrin qad qudira

We caused the earth to burst forth with springs so that the waters could come together for a predestined purpose.

And We caused to burst

وَفَجَّرْنَا

the earth

الْأَرْضَ

(with) springs

عُيُونًا

so met

فَالْتَقَى

the water(s)

الْمَاءُ

for

عَلَى

a matter

أَمْرٍ

already

قَدْ

predestined

قُدِرَ
