فَدَعَا

رَبَّهُ

أَنِّي

مَغْلُوبٌ

فَانتَصِرْ

fa-daʿā rabbahū ʾannī maghlūbun fa-ntaṣir

Thereat he invoked his Lord, [saying,] ‘I have been overcome, so help [me].’

— Ali Quli Qarai

Then he called on his Lord: "I am one overcome: do Thou then help (me)!"
