ٱلذَّارِيَات

51:44

fa-ʿataw ʿan ʾamri rabbihim fa-ʾakhadhathumu ṣ-ṣāʿiqatu wa-hum yanẓurūna

Then they defied the command of their Lord; so the thunderbolt seized them as they looked on.

ٱلذَّارِيَات

But they rebelled

فَعَتَوۡاْ

against

عَنۡ

(the) Command

أَمۡرِ

(of) their Lord

رَبِّهِمۡ

so seized them

فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ

the thunderbolt

ٱلصَّـٰعِقَةُ

while they

وَهُمۡ

were looking

يَنظُرُونَ
