ٱلْأَحْقَاف
46:29
وَإِذْ
صَرَفْنَا
إِلَيْكَ
نَفَرًا
مِّنَ
الْجِنِّ
يَسْتَمِعُونَ
الْقُرْآنَ
فَلَمَّا
حَضَرُوهُ
قَالُوا
أَنصِتُوا
فَلَمَّا
قُضِيَ
وَلَّوْا
إِلَى
قَوْمِهِم
مُّنذِرِينَ
wa-ʾidh ṣarafnā ʾilayka nafaran mina l-jinni yastamiʿūna l-qurʾāna fa-lammā ḥaḍarūhu qālū ʾanṣitū fa-lammā quḍiya wallaw ʾilā qawmihim mundhirīna
We turned a party of jinn towards you to listen to the Quran. When they attended a Quranic recitation, they said to each other, "Be silent," and, when it was over, they turned back to their people, in warning,
