الدخان

al-Dukhān (Smoke)

ٱلدُّخَان

44:29

فَمَا

بَكَتْ

عَلَيْهِمُ

السَّمَاءُ

وَالْأَرْضُ

وَمَا

كَانُوا

مُنظَرِينَ

fa-mā bakat ʿalayhimu s-samāʾu wa-l-ʾarḍu wa-mā kānū munẓarīna

The sky nor the earth cried for them, nor were they given respite.

And not

فَمَا

wept

بَكَتْ

for them

عَلَيْهِمُ

the heaven

السَّمَاءُ

and the earth

وَالْأَرْضُ
