al-Zukhruf (Ornaments)

ٱلْزُّخْرُف

43:8

فَأَهْلَكْنَا

أَشَدَّ

مِنْهُم

بَطْشًا

وَمَضَى

مَثَلُ

الْأَوَّلِينَ

fa-ʾahlaknā ʾashadda minhum baṭshan wa-maḍā mathalu l-ʾawwalīna

We destroyed the strongest among them in power. The stories of the ancient people have already been mentioned.
