الَّذِينَ

آمَنُوا

بِآيَاتِنَا

وَكَانُوا

مُسْلِمِينَ

alladhīna ʾāmanū bi-ʾāyātinā wa-kānū muslimīna

—those who believed in Our signs and had been Muslims.

(Being) those who have believed in Our Signs and bowed (their wills to Ours) in Islam.
