al-Zukhruf (Ornaments)
ٱلْزُّخْرُف
43:13
لِتَسْتَوُوا
عَلَى
ظُهُورِهِ
ثُمَّ
تَذْكُرُوا
نِعْمَةَ
رَبِّكُمْ
إِذَا
اسْتَوَيْتُمْ
عَلَيْهِ
وَتَقُولُوا
سُبْحَانَ
الَّذِي
سَخَّرَ
لَنَا
هَذَا
وَمَا
كُنَّا
لَهُ
مُقْرِنِينَ
li-tastawū ʿalā ẓuhūrihī thumma tadhkurū niʿmata rabbikum ʾidhā stawaytum ʿalayhi wa-taqūlū subḥāna lladhī sakhkhara lanā hādhā wa-mā kunnā lahū muqrinīna
so that perhaps when you ride them, you will recall the bounties of your Lord and when you establish your control over it you would say, "Glory belongs to Him who has made it subservient to us when we would not have been able to do so ourselves.
