الشورى

al-Shūrā (Consultation)

ٱلشُّورىٰ

42:43

وَلَمَن

صَبَرَ

وَغَفَرَ

إِنَّ

ذَلِكَ

لَمِنْ

عَزْمِ

الْأُمُورِ

wa-la-man ṣabara wa-ghafara ʾinna dhālika la-min ʿazmi l-ʾumūri

To exercise patience and forgive (the wrong done to one) is the proof of genuine determination.

And whoever

وَلَمَن

(is) patient

صَبَرَ

and forgives

وَغَفَرَ

indeed

إِنَّ

that

ذَلِكَ

(is) surely of

matters of determination
