وَمَا أَنتُم بِمُعْجِزِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ
You cannot frustrate [Allah] on the earth, and you do not have besides Allah any guardian or helper.

Commentary on Quran 42:31
[Pooya/Ali Commentary 42:31] Every evil deed, or word, or thought, has its evil consequence. Allah punishes the evildoer. No one can stop Him. If He forgives, let no one imagine that He is in any way helpless. Allah's will Or plan can never be defeated or frustrated. The only help or pardon that is possible is from Allah.
