ٱلشُّورىٰ
42:18
يَسْتَعْجِلُ
بِهَا
الَّذِينَ
لَا
يُؤْمِنُونَ
بِهَا
وَالَّذِينَ
آمَنُوا
مُشْفِقُونَ
مِنْهَا
وَيَعْلَمُونَ
أَنَّهَا
الْحَقُّ
أَلَا
إِنَّ
الَّذِينَ
يُمَارُونَ
فِي
السَّاعَةِ
لَفِي
ضَلَالٍ
بَعِيدٍ
yastaʿjilu bihā lladhīna lā yuʾminūna bihā wa-lladhīna ʾāmanū mushfiqūna minhā wa-yaʿlamūna ʾannahā l-ḥaqqu ʾa-lā ʾinna lladhīna yumārūna fī s-sāʿati la-fī ḍalālin baʿīdin-i
The disbelievers want you to show them the Day of Judgment immediately while the believers are afraid of it for they know it to be the truth. Those who insist on disputing the Hour of Doom are certainly in plain error.
